Amedeo Gennarelli
Naples 1891 / Paris 1943 - Important Sculptor. A student of Francesco Jerace, in 1909, goes to Paris where he contacts the great Sculptors and artists of the period. Bronze medal in 1923. From 1913 to 1936 he exhibited its beautiful Marble at the "Salon des Artistes Francais". He also produced many Bronze and Terrecotte, some of which were sold through Alfred Dunhill in Paris and in his branches in London and New York. He also performed a large number of monumental Sculptures. In 1932 he was an exponent of the "Neoclassical School" and founder of the group of Neoclassical Sculptors in Paris. He has certainly been one of the top exponents in France for developing a new figurative language. His work is of high collectable value.
